Job Title: Performance Marketing Manager

SUMMARY

The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and executing PADI’s paid advertising campaigns while working to hit global and regional key performance indicators.

The role will involve the management and evaluation of current campaigns across PADI’s digital products, while suggesting and implementing changes to achieve an optimal return on ad spend.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Execute campaigns through paid search and social channels (e.g. Google, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) to drive brand awareness and maximize revenue across the full PADI Experience - PADI eLearning, PADI Travel, Certification Cards, etc.

Contribute to the development of overall media strategies for paid digital media plans (including audience targeting and segmentation, messaging, flighting, budgeting, etc.)

Optimise campaigns through testing with a focus on improving efficiency, consistency and effectiveness.

Work closely with the data analytics team to evaluate ROAS beyond that reported directly by ad platforms, and to better understand Paid’s role in the wider marketing mix.

Collaborate with creative teams to develop and produce content assets (banner ads, video ads, landing pages, etc.) that will increase engagement and conversions.

Identify trends, insights and innovations in the industry; stay abreast of competitors’ evolving digital strategies.

Hit paid advertising revenue and profitability goals across different business units set forth by the PADI organisation.

Effectively communicate on campaign performance to internal stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in buying and optimising digital ads, with a focus on SEM.
  • Highly proficient with Google Ads.
  • Proficient with Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
  • Experience in conversion optimisation with a preferred focus in digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to extract, analyse and report out on necessary data points, and derived insights.

KEY SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • A heavily data-driven approach is essential, with strong logical and analytical capabilities.
  • The ability to think beyond just the standard operating procedure when using advertising platforms.
  • Strong communication skills, preferably with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the scuba industry is a plus but not a must
